About Us
Welcome to 3Conservatives.com! While here, you will find a wide variety of articles primarily relating to conservative political philosophy and current events (although we’ve been known to dabble in other fields from time to time). Below is a bit of information about each of the three conservatives after whom the site was so imaginatively named.
Ben Carnes (”The Social Issues Guy”)
Ben is the guy who puts the site together and, since he handles all of the technical aspects of the site, he gets to heap massive amounts of praise upon himself in his biography (in addition to getting the chance to refer to himself in the third person). A dashingly handsome and almost unfathomably awesome person, the catalyst for Ben’s serious involvement in politics was his political talk show, On the Fringe, on 95.5 “The Vibe” (in Greenville, SC). Ben served as the South Carolina Grassroots Coordinator for Senator Sam Brownback’s presidential campaign and has worked or volunteered for a number of political causes. He currently serves as the Legislative Director for the National Pro-Life Alliance in Washington, D.C. He is married and has one son (little Reagan Theodore Benson Carnes!).
Justin Hunt (”The Economics Guy”)
A self-proclaimed “Veteran Free-Market Capitalist” (which is quite likely redundant), Justin’s involvement in politics has led him to such positions as Chairman of the North Greenville University delegation to South Carolina’s Student Legislature and Vice-President of North Greenville University’s College Republicans, among others. Justin now works as a political staffer in Washington D.C.
Cory Truax (”The Foreign Policy Guy”)
Known equally for his flowing golden mane and formidable intellect, Cory is an avid student of history who previously served as the President of North Greenville University’s College Republicans. Since that time, Cory has worked for multiple political campaigns in South Carolina, including his position overseeing State Senator Mike Fair’s bid for re-election. Cory frequently serves as the guest host of 660 AM’s Christian Worldview Today in Greenville, South Carolina. Cory is also working on three books, including a political thriller and an analysis of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Everson v. Board of Education.
